Bluestone/Granite dry-stack

There were some very hefty megaliths in the seven or so pallets of Bluestone. Hauling them up a very steep ramp in this mountainous location took a bit of micro-engineering.

All local hand picked granite was used for the scallop work and stacks(there might be some serpentine in there as well).

The work sits on a deep layer of pea gravel to provide drainage from the heavy spring runoff from the steep slopes and mountain snows...
